1 cup plain flour (ap)
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ginger (ground)
⅛ tsp cinnamon (ground)
⅛ tsp cloves (ground)
1 pinch nutmeg
¼ cup milk
2 tbsp molasses (or golden syrup)
2 tbsp sour cream (i used yoghurt)
1 whole egg (lightly beaten)
1 tbsp butter (melted and cool)
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp plain flour (ap)
1 tbsp butter (room temperature)
